The Home Phone LLC provides managed home phone lines for households through The Home Phone. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to account owners.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as name, email address, login credentials, and subscription status. We also collect household calling setup information such as managed line names, trusted contacts, phone numbers, device identifiers, adapter provisioning details, voicemail settings, quiet hours, wake-up schedules, and support notes you provide.
The service creates operational records needed to run a phone service, including SIP registration status, provisioning requests, call logs, voicemail message metadata, diagnostics, and application logs. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and we receive subscription and billing status from Stripe rather than storing full card numbers.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage accounts, provision home phone adapters, route approved calls, enforce trusted-contact rules, process subscriptions, provide support, protect the service, debug reliability issues, and improve the product.
Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate The Home Phone. Examples include cloud hosting, payment processing, telecom/SIP providers, email or messaging providers, analytics or diagnostics tools, and customer support tools. We do not sell personal information.
Children And Household Lines
The Home Phone is managed by an account owner for household use. The app is intended for the account owner to configure lines, contacts, devices, subscriptions, and settings. Children can use the physical phone line under those household-managed settings.
Retention And Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain operational records. Account owners may request deletion or correction by contacting support.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account and service information. No internet or phone service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to limit access and keep operational secrets out of regular support workflows.
